A series of lectures and round-tables about the moral maxims of Christ in accordance with Spiritism and their application in various circumstances in life.
The session is open to the public and will be based on the book "Gospel According to Spiritism" by Allan Kardec. We invite everyone to join us.

Fraternal Counseling

Fraternal Counselling is now being offered at the Toronto Spiritist Society on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Anyone who is undergoing a difficult time due to physical, psychological and/or spiritual imbalance is eligible to receive the fraternal counseling and the spiritual treatment. These services are provided at no cost by our volunteer counsellors who have been trained to listen to your concerns and provide guidance and instructions based on the precepts of Spiritism. Each session will also include prayers and individual passes followed by spiritually magnetized water.

We have a new home!

Welcome to our new home.
The Toronto Spiritist Society is now officially in its new location at 261 Gerrard St, E.
I would like to thank all those who volunteered over the last week to make our move possible - lots of packing, heavy moving and above all, plenty of excitement to go around.
Without your help, none of this would be possible.
Today we have our first event at the new office. It is our monthly lunch-and-learn and we invite everyone to come and visit us.

Allan Kardec

(Excerpted From Posthumous Works)

Born in Lyon, France , on October 3, 1804 , of a traditional family, greatly distinguished in the legal profession and court system, Allan Kardec (Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail) did not pursue these careers. From his youth, he was inclined toward the studies of science and of philosophy.
